Current Surface Projects
Replacement of Maroon Associated Gas Transmission Pipeline Network
This project is part of the flare gas recovery master plan. The implementation included the integration of flare gas from Maroon operational units 6, 1, 4, 3, and 5, and connecting the gas transmission pipeline from NGL-500 to NGL-400 as per the schedule.
Gas transfer from NGL-500 to NGL-400 was executed by crossing the Jarrahi River through detailed engineering and technical works.
This project is part of the rehabilitation plan and involves construction of facilities to recover flare gases. The new pipeline network spans over 60 km, crossing the Jarrahi and Kupal Rivers, and operational stations such as Maroon 6 and 1, supplying feed gas to NGL-400 from NGL-500.
With the successful execution, the project prevented the flaring of 90 million standard cubic feet of gas per day at Maroon 6, 1, and NGL-500, which was previously untransferable due to pipeline deterioration.
